What happens after you submit
We read what you sent and get back to you, usually within a couple of business days, to arrange a time to see the floors. We look at them in person, tell you what they need, and give you a real number. Requesting a quote does not put you on the hook for anything.
How we quote
The quote is free and there is no cost for the visit. We price the work the floor actually needs: if a recoat will do, a recoat is what we quote. If the job turns out to be bigger than you expected, we explain why before anything is booked.
What to have ready
- Roughly how many rooms, or the approximate square footage.
- How old the floors are if you know, and whether they are maple, oak or something else.
- Anything you have noticed: dullness, scratches, dark stains, or boards lifting at the edges.
- Whether you want to keep the current colour or change it.
- Whether stairs are part of the job. They are priced separately and they are easy to forget.
